Sean P. Joyce isn’t your typical 15-year-old. While most kids his age are stuck on level 30 of some video game, Sean is busy creating a whole world of ape warriors, jungle raids, and fierce fights for survival.

The adventures of Plush, his fearless and often misunderstood ape, began as bedtime tales and grew into full-blown epics through his imagination. With the help of an English teacher and a school writing class, Sean took his storytelling to the next level and wrote his debut novel, The Great Esc-APE.
